Moe Okuda performing split juimp on ice

Figure Skating has been a big part of my life. My amateur and professional skating began in the west coast where I trained and worked at various locations across California. My heart fell in love with the beauty of performance and started a career in the professional show skating world. From ensemble to soloist, I have gained the importance of the art of figure skating and that it is not all about the number of rotations but the simplicity of harnessing the basic skating skills and fundamental edges.

Therefore, my teachings are greatly influenced by my professional and competitive side of skating through building consistency, strength and confidence. I believe in reaching a skaters individual goals and aid them with the tools needed to achieve them.

Not only is building confidence on the ice important, it is also important off the ice. With my college background in kinesiology, I specialize in strength, mobility, flexibility, and rehabilitation.
