Valentina Rudchenko
Valentina began her skating journey as a freestyle competitor in the U.S., reaching the Intermediate level while training with respected coaches such as Anton Nimenko, Romain Serov, Gennadi Krasnitski, Silvia Fontana, and even a bit with the legendary Alexey Mishin.
After discovering a passion for ice dance under the guidance of Evgeny Platov, she quickly shifted her focus to the discipline, pursuing it more seriously. She moved to France to compete internationally, representing the country at Junior Grand Prix (JGP) and ISU international events at both the junior and senior levels. Along the way, she trained with renowned ice dance coaches, including Evgeny Platov, Romain Haguenauer, Muriel Boucher-Zazoui, and Igor Shpilband.
After transitioning into coaching, Valentina worked alongside Evgeny Platov in Florida before coaching at various camps and clubs across Europe, where she had the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from legendary coaches such as Lorenzo Magri and Olympic Champion Ilia Kulik. During this time, she worked with both single skaters and ice dancers, refining their skills and artistry.
Now based in New Jersey, she is excited to be working with a team of longtime friends, focusing on skating skills, dance, and choreography. Valentina is always eager to expand her knowledge and refine her coaching techniques, continuously seeking new ways to help skaters develop both technically and artistically. She strives to create a positive and supportive training environment where athletes can grow and reach their full potential.
